South African GP who discovered the Omicron variant was told to talk up the Covid strain
Dr Angelique Coetzee who was one of the first scientists to discover Omicron strain was attacked from scientists and politicians around the world and told not to describe the Omicron variant as ‘mild’.

There has been a lot of pressure from European scientists and politicians who have said ”Please don’t say it is a mild illness”.
