Israel is selling the vax as a four dose series. Should we believe them this time?
The Health Ministry said on Sunday that the fourth vaccine dose for those aged 60 and up offers a threefold protection against serious illness and twofold protection against infection in the current wave driven by the Omicron variant.
Personally I am uncertain and will wait for confirmation to see if Israel avoids its next wave (next season)/ My reservations are based on what we were promised before and the fact that there are some signals of negative vaccine efficacy in the younger age groups (20-39).
