Reports from Iranian media indicate that early Saturday morning, five explosions were heard across Tehran and the nearby city of Karaj, possibly marking the onset of an Israeli retaliatory strike against Iran. Earlier, a shipment of U.S. F-16 jets reportedly arrived in the Middle East to bolster defenses against Iran, following Israeli air strikes against the region’s “terror regime.” These strikes, which began around 45 minutes ago local time, are said to be highly targeted, with some reportedly taking place near Iranian nuclear sites.
The attacks are understood to be part of a powerful deterrence strategy.
